Saldoksi saimme 6 pentua: 3 mustaa ja 1 keltainen uros sekä 1 musta ja 1 keltainen narttu. Urosvalinnassa meille on annettu mahdollisuus hypätä aikakoneeseen, jonka kyydissä pääsemme siirtymään ajassa taaksepäin aina vuoteen 1979 asti. Urokseksi olemme valinneet ruotsalaisen, aikansa ehdottoman huippukoiran Like'ims Handsomen eli Gajn. Sona on äärimmäisen miellyttämishaluinen, vilpittömän työintoinen ja loputtoman riistaintoinen koira, joka on jättänyt kaksi kokonaisuutena hyvää pentuetta kahden eri uroksen kanssa. Sonalla on kaudelta 2009 kasassa NOME-B-puolelta 3 x AVO1-tulokset sekä ensimmäisestä ja toistaiseksi ainoasta voittajaluokan startistaan 3-tulos. Lisäksi se sai MEJÄ:stä toisen AVO1-tuloksen ja siirtyi VOI-luokkaan. Näyttelyissä se on aiempina vuosina palkittu useasti laatumaininnalla ERI. SJCH & NJCH & SUCH & SLCH Like'ims Handsome "Gaj" edustaa sitä vanhaa, brittiläistä kasvatustyötä, jossa riitti kauniita ja työskentelyhaluisia koiria. Sitä alkuperäistä linjaa, joka ei vielä ollut voimakkaasti jakaantunut näyttely- ja käyttölinjoihin. Gaj itse on ollut aikansa todellinen monitaituri, joka pärjäsi täysin suvereenisti niin näyttelykehissä, metsästyskokeissa, tottelevaisuuskokeissa, palveluskoirakokeissa kuin käytännön metsällä. Sillä oli kaikki ne ominaisuudet, jotka tekevät labradorista juuri sen monitoimikoiran, jonka kanssa voi harrastaa mitä vain ja se on myös periyttänyt vankasti itseään eteepäin. Toivomme Sonan ja Gajn ainutlaatuisista pennuista aktiivisille ihmisille soveltuvia monipuolisia, kestäviä, vanhanajantyyppisiä harrastuskoiria. Kaikki pennut ovat jo muuttaneet uusiin koteihinsa. F-LITTER (below) ja E-LITTER (click the name) F-litter was born 5th April to our Jummi-Jammin Sonata Arctica "Sona". The result is 6 puppies: 3 black and 1 yellow males, 1 black and 1 yellow female. The sire has given us the opportunity to travel back to the past in a time-capsule and reach the year 1979. The sire is a Swedish male Like'ims Handsome "Gaj", the very top dog of his time. Sona is an extremely biddadle, honest and hard-working bitch with endless passion to all sorts of game. She has previously had two overall good litters with two different males. She has been awarded 3 x Open Class 1st prizes in the Field Trials (cold game) during the season 2009 and she also ran once in the Winner Class gaining the 3rd prize at her very first attempt. She competed blood tracking Open Class gaining her second 1st prize and therefore a ticket to the Winner Class. During the previous years she has been awarded EXC several times in the show ring. S FTCH & N FTCH & S CH & S OBCH Like'ims Handsome "Gaj" represents old British breeding work with lots of stunningly beautiful dogs with the capacity and will to work in the field. That original line, which wasn't yet so divided into show and working types. Gaj himself was the absolute top Labrador of his time competing successfully in the show ring, field trials, obedience tests, working trials and also did well, when out hunting with his owner. He simply had it all that makes a Labrador such a wonderful companion for any imaginable activity and he has passed these traits on to his offspring. We wish the unique puppies of Sona and Gaj to be versatile, durable, old-fashioned Labradors, in other words excellent companions for active people. The puppies have already moved to their new homes.
